An extensive article on the architecture of the brand-new CSBD building has been published in the recent 5/2017 issue of the Finnish “Arkkitehti” Journal. The conceptual design of the institute’s building that was completed in early 2017 was created by the Finnish architects Heikkinen-Komonen. Just like the neighbouring building of the MPI-CBG, which was designed by the same architecture firm, the research building is featuring a transparent and unobtrusive style deliberately supporting communication and interaction of the scientists working there.

“Arkkitehti - Finnish Architectural Review" is published six times per year and comprises 80–100 pages. Each issue is built around a different overarching theme and all content appears in both Finnish and English. Please see the pdf of the CSBD article.
